In just over 14 years, Josef Chromy Wines has become the 4th largest winery in the State. Considerable investment in processing, bottling and warehousing on site has been made and is one of the few establishments that crushes, makes and bottles its wine on the island.

It is lead by a dedicated team of winemakers and sales and marketing personnel that are involved not only in the production of the wine, but plan and implement the marketing strategy and are at the forefront of the brand, telling the Josef Chromy Wines and Tasmanian story at many domestic and international wine festivals, dinners and events.

From the first export sale to Japan in February 2009, Josef Chromy Wines has seen exports grow from 358 doz in 2008-09 to 7000 doz in 2020-21 and represents 13.4% of case sales and 10% of value in 12 international markets.

Josef Chromy Wines export achievements were recognised at the Tasmanian Export Awards, winning the Agri-Business category in 2018 and finalist in 2019.
