About Huon Aquaculture
Huon Aquaculture was founded in 1986 in Southern Tasmania (Australia) and farms salmon and ocean trout in the island State’s wild waters. Huon is fully vertically-integrated meaning that Huon has control over every single step in the chain from which fish are selected for breeding, to how the fish are grown, processed, packaged, marketed and sold.
Huon has a strong focus on animal welfare with fish farmed in the best conditions and fed a high-performance quality diet. This focus directly results in a quality product that is loved by customers from Australia to Japan and everywhere in between.
As of 2021, Huon remains Australia's only RSPCA approved Salmon supplier.
